Gov. Malloy: Cannondale Expands Operations, Establishes Wilton Headquarters
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the State Bond Commission will consider a $3 million loan to assist Cannondale Sports Unlimited (CSU) establish a new headquarters and add 75 new jobs in Wilton. The company will handle marketing, research and development, and product design in approximately 50,000 square feet of leased space in Wilton's I-Park.

Gov. Malloy Issues Executive Order to Increase Transparency on Economic Development Incentives
Governor Dannel P. Malloy, joined by State Comptroller Kevin Lembo and Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) Commissioner Catherine Smith, today signed Executive Order (EO) No. 38 to make information regarding certain economic assistance and tax credits used to recruit or retain businesses more accessible to Connecticut residents.

Monday: Gov. Malloy Signs Legislation Encouraging the Increase of Connecticut Exports into Foreign Markets and Growth of Local Businesses
On Monday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a bill signing ceremony at Test Logic, a small business located in Middletown, where he will sign legislation (Public Act 13-56) that allows the state to prioritize economic assistance to certain businesses that are pursuing global commerce and will help get more Connecticut products into foreign markets.

Gov. Malloy: State To Support Cutting-Edge Biotech Startup
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced $4.25 million in state support for Arvinas Inc., a New Haven-based biotechnology startup that is developing a new class of drugs to combat cancer and other diseases. Located in the city’s Science Park, Arvinas is founded on research licensed from Yale University and is in the process of hiring its first 25 employees.

Gov. Malloy: $4.9 Million in Emergency Assistance Will Help Weather-Damaged Small Farms Recover
Governor Dannel P. Malloy announced today that the state Department of Agriculture (DoAg), in cooperation with the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), has approved 239 awards totaling $4,922,280 in emergency assistance for Connecticut farms through the Production Loss Assistance Needed Today (PLANT) grant program.

Gov. Malloy: Economic Development Initiatives Help Small Businesses Create Jobs in Connecticut
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) Commissioner Catherine Smith today visited four small businesses in Manchester, Meriden, New Haven, and Stamford that are participating in the state's Small Business Express Program (EXP). The program, administered by DECD, offers grants and matching loans to Connecticut companies with 100 or fewer employees.

Gov. Malloy: Navigators Group Moving Corporate Headquarters from NY to CT
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that The Navigators Group, Inc., an international specialty insurance holding company, will move its corporate headquarters and additional operations from New York to Stamford, Connecticut. The project is expected to create 200 jobs in the state within the next five years.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today toured Connecticut Hydroponic Farm in East Hartford, which received a Production Loss Assistance Needed Today (PLANT) grant of over $79,000 to help recover from damage incurred as a result of February’s severe snowstorm.
