Gov. Malloy: CareCentrix Growing Presence in Connecticut With New Stamford Office
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that CareCentrix is expanding its Connecticut operations with a new office in Stamford after finalizing a lease agreement on Wednesday. In June 2012, CareCentrix became the fifth company to participate in Governor Malloy’s “First Five” program, a job creation initiative administered by the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD).

Gov. Malloy: Transportation Safety Research Center Improves Road Safety, Saves Money, Modernizes Data Collection and Analysis
Governor Dannel P. Malloy, joined by State Department of Transportation (DOT) Commissioner James P. Redeker, and UConn Provost Mun Choi, announced today that the Connecticut Transportation Safety Research Center at UConn in Storrs is dramatically improving the collection and analysis of car crash data, and providing an important new resource for law enforcement, health and safety personnel, policymakers, and the public.

Gov. Malloy: New Federal Storm Sandy Aid Will Help Protect Coastal Communities and Residents
Roughly a year after Storm Sandy hit Connecticut’s coastline, Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that federal funding has been obtained to better protect communities along Long Island Sound by restoring natural features – such as marshes, wetlands, beaches, and the flow of rivers – that can help reduce damage from severe storms in the future.
