Wednesday: Gov. Malloy Attends Opening of Manufacturing Centers in Danielson, Bridgeport, Waterbury, Holds Post-Bond Commission Media Availability
On Wednesday, Governor Malloy will visit Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson, Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, and Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury where he will participate in three separate ceremonies to commemorate the opening of each community college’s new Advanced Manufacturing Centers.

On Tuesday, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold three media briefings at the state Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Hartford to provide updates on Connecticut's response to Hurricane Sandy -- the first at 8:30 a.m., followed by another at noon, and then a third at 6:00 p.m.

Friday: Gov. Malloy Unveils State's Comprehensive Energy Strategy
On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give the keynote address at the Connecticut Business & Industry Association’s 2012 Business Energy Conference, where he will unveil his new comprehensive energy strategy for the state and will discuss how it will help create jobs, lower costs for consumers and preserve our environment.

Gov. Malloy: $121 Million Released for High-Speed Rail Program
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and the U.S. Department of Transportation today announced the release of $120.9 million in FRA funding to Connecticut to advance the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield (NHHS) Rail Program. The federal funding will be matched by $141.9 million in state funding. Enhanced intercity rail service is expected to start in 2016.

Gov. Malloy: Residents Seeking Federal Assistance Must Register With FEMA
After receiving notification of the federal assistance available to cities and towns, businesses, individuals, and non-profits in Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex and New London Counties, Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that residents in those counties who suffered damage as a result of Hurricane Sandy must register with FEMA by phone or online to access that aid.
