Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is nominating the Honorable Christine E. Keller of Hartford to serve as a judge on the Connecticut Appellate Court. In addition, he is nominating 15 other Connecticut attorneys to become judges of the Superior Court.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman, joined by University of Connecticut (UConn) President Susan Herbst, Senate President Don Williams, Speaker of the House Brendan Sharkey, representatives from United Technologies, and state officials, announced a $1.5 billion investment in UConn to support major expansions across three campuses, bring thousands of jobs to the state, and, over the next ten years, catalyze hundreds of millions of dollars in research investment and business activity.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grants to ten Connecticut towns engaged in capital improvement projects. Andover, Berlin, East Haddam, East Hampton, Fairfield, Lyme, Somers, and Suffield are working on upgrades that will harden infrastructure, revitalize public spaces, and create jobs.
