Governor Malloy: DECD Commissioner Smith Announce Funding to Support Development Projects
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith today announced the state will help fund various development projects by redirecting $4.6 million in previously allocated bonding to the Regional Brownfield and Economic Development Program. The State Bond Commission is expected to approve the measure at its next meeting June 24.

Rosa DeLauro, Mayor John DeStefano and Federal Highway Administrator Victor Mendez led a ceremonial groundbreaking today for the reconstruction of the I-95/I-91/Route 34 Interchange in New Haven – a $357 million piece of the $2 billion Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge replacement project.

Wednesday: Gov. Malloy Participates in House of Bread Ribbon Cutting, Attends Hartford Magnet Middle School Celebration
On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony for House of Bread, a soup kitchen and day shelter in Hartford that serves 200 adults and more than 400 children each day. The organization has moved into a new building that will now have a second kitchen, a larger dining area, new offices and a conference room.
